But truly, good luck with the search. Let’s hope Hamish turns up.

Driver runs over cyclist’s bike and drags it 1km in fit of eastern suburbs road rage.
It just keeps getting better…

Alvaro Navarro was riding along Old South Head Rd about 7.15am on Tuesday this week when a driver aggressively overtook him and forced him into the curb.
After a brief verbal altercation, the Bellevue Hill resident said he rode away towards the next set of traffic lights.
The driver was in another lane, but Mr Navarro said “he decided to pull out from where he was and into behind me”.
“He then bumped me from behind.”
Noticing that it had caused damage to the bike, Mr Navarro said he got off his bike and walked up to the driver’s window to ask him to fix it.
“He just took off,’’ he said. “He drove over it and dragged the bike all the way up Syd Einfeld Dr very close to Centennial Park. It was about 1km.”
Mr Navarro found the bike dumped on the side of the road and has since had to throw it away because it was so badly damaged.

'I just don't care': Texting probationary driver hits cyclist .

“I just don’t care because I’ve already been through a lot of bullshit and my car is like pretty expensive and now I have to fix it,” she told a police officer. “I’m kind of pissed off that the cyclist has hit the side of my car. I don’t agree that people texting and driving could hit a cyclist. I wasn’t on my phone when I hit the cyclist.”

The laws need to be revisited if they’re keeping drivers like this from some harsher punishments. I’m not necessarily proposing jail time (I disagree with the general concept of jail), but gee whiz… $4500 and nine month licence suspension? Get a heavier book, and throw the frigging thing at this cretin.

Records showed Davis used her phone 44 times in her drive from east Warrnambool to Koroit, sending and receiving 22 text messages to seven different phones.
At 7.18pm she received a text message and 51 seconds later made the call to triple-0 after hitting the rider.

My flipping sweet fuckery are you kidding me. I take back what I said, jail her.
I want her burned at the stake. Let’s bring that back.
